Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET Sep 2016

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declares applications to appear in Central Teacher Eligibility Test, CTET Sep 2016. Online applications for CTET can be submitted before above mentioned date.

Name of Exam : Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET – Sep 2016)

Qualification(s) : 



1.Academical Qualifications for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) Teacher Test: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent standard) pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Pass in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent standard) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Senior Secondary School pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Senior Secondary standard pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Graduation degree with passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.

2. Academical  Qualification for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage) Teacher Test: Graduation degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduate degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) OR Senior Secondary pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR Senior Secondary standard pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed OR Graduation pass with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Procedure to Apply : Online Applications should be submitted through the website www.ctet.nic.in

Processing Charges : Rs. 600/- is to be paid  for a single paper & Rs. 1000/- for both papers. Fee for  of SC/ ST/ Disabled candidates is Rs. 300/- for one paper & Rs. 500/- for both papers.Application charges  is to be paid through E-Challan by deposit the fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.

Applicants can also allowed to pay  fee  through Online by  using Debit Card or Credit Card.
